The stuff they try and sell combined with their asking prices is a riot.
This Porsche is
$6,950
, and is described as “
a strong parts car or will require an extensive restoration.
”
I’m sorry but no. There is basically nothing salvageable here. This car doesn’t require an extensive restoration, it requires a respectful burial.

Seeing this gaping hole made me laugh out loud.

Did they pull the Porsche out of the ocean? Anyways, it’s only a 912. But seriously wtf?

You’re forgetting that Tavarish exists.

Considering the way classic Porsche prices are trending, this is a smoking deal.
- idiots, probably

There’s no car left.

Other than the slight suspension sag, what could go wrong? I kind of want it.

That’s one hell of a barn find. Too bad the barn collapsed on top of the car in 1997.

You misunderstand. Time machine ownership is assumed when they say ‘extensive restoration’. If you have one of those, it’s easy-pesy.
...Oh wait. No one does because that can’t exist. Nevermind, it’s trash.

What parts, exactly? Everything is either bent or rusted through.

I’d take the gauge pack... that could look cool mounted on a wall or desk.

Is there one single piece of that car that is salvageable? Maybe the drivers side window glass? Also a 912 a few years ago was a $5,000 car in decent shape.

I thought that was the floor for a second, then realized there was no floor.

And it’s not even a 911! For crying out loud, that’s a new level of batshittery.

I thought the same thing when I saw that. Like, even the gauges are in rough shape, probably the best part. It looks like it was literally pulled from under a pile of cars in a junkyard or a marsh somewhere.

missing a bit here.

I think it was already buried. Possibly in the basement of the world trade center.
